How time flies

Wow I guess time sure does fly! Apparently we have not updated this for a little while! We are almost in the 3rd trimester with baby J( 24 1/2 weeks). We had our ultrasound about a month ago. The doctor says everything looks right on track with what it should be. We did not find out what we are having though so sorry if anyone was waiting to find out! Guess we'll all have to wait till Baby J decides to make its arrival! Greg got the living room done we did some painting and he did some trim work and a few other things! We finally got our new furniture last week and are really enjoying it. Although I think the pugs are enjoying it more! On another note we are going to be flying to California on Friday to spend a week with Cheryl and Jim! We are SUPER excited and sure that they will have a fun time planned! We gave them a few things we wanted to do while there and are letting them plan the rest! Last trip before Baby J gets here I guess! Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the weather and staying safe in it!

hey all! As some of you might know we are planning a trip to california! we decided we wanted to go on a last vacation before Baby J comes along. we're going to stay at aunt cheryl and uncle jim's house in tustin ca. we've given them some ideas of what we want to do and are kinda leaving it up to them (i think/hope) to coordinate all of it. on a different note chelsey(baby J) is at 19 weeks already! and seems like just overnight got a baby bump! we go to the doc on friday at 2 for an ultra-sound. not sure what this'll do for us as we're not going to find out what it is but doctor says its time for one! I'm just starting on trimming the last two windows and adding a little bit of sheet-rock on a wall in the living room to even a wall out, this will be the last room in the house to get work done in it, and i'm happy to say i'm leaving the plaster on the walls- no mess(or less mess)! we'll try harder to keep you posted on the baby stuff as we get more news!

Hi! long time no see! well right now ton's of new stuff in our lives but i probably can only remember just a few things... if you didn't already know we are expecting a child! we are both very excited! our due date is to be May 30th(but we all are pulling for the 1st of june right?) anyhow greg has the siding done on the house and we took back all the extra siding supplied and it seems welve got enough to build about half of our deck! chels was really annoyed this morning as she was going to have to work on a monday since the salon is closed this weekend for the move and the holiday. chelsey's salon is moving the day after thanksgiving, and will only be open on tuesday wednesday this week, so she decided to work at the care center on monday tuesday and at the salon on wednesday so that everyone could look their best for the holiday! any how we are asking for xmas lists and doing our best to finish ours up to send out to you all. happy thanksgiving!

Obviously we have NOT updated this in a LONG time! We have started siding the house, the south side is done and about half of the east side is done! Greg says it is going up a lot faster and easier than he had planned, which is GREAT!
We are going to try and go camping one last time this weekend before we have to get the camper ready for winter. This is the last weekend that Greg doesnt have something going on till November, so we are taking advantage of it! Maybe we will get to somewhat celebrate our anniversary! (Can't believe its been 2 years already) :) Greg says we are just going to chillax(sp? chill and relax)!
We've decided to buy each other a KitchenAid Mixer for our anniversary and my birthday! Greg says its the best one that is within our budget!(that is the kitchenaid professional 5 plus) I cant wait I'm going to be a baking son of a gun haha!!!!!!
Work is still going good for both of us, Greg is still on days working on his line now he thinks it'll be till the 1st of the year at least. I'm still doing hair 2 days at the care center and 3 at the salon. My boss recently bought a new building so we will be moving our salon sometime in the next few months (depending on construction).
Thats about all we have going on for now! We will try to get some pictures up of the house soon. Hope everyone is doing well and had a great summer cause FALL is now here!

needing to update!!

hi everyone! here's what is going on with us... chels just last week started a 2nd job at a salon in an assisted living center in oskaloosa. she will work there on tuesday and wednesday, and will work at Hair Clinique on thursday friday and saturdays. this is a big change for her as she is now self employed part of the week and just went to commission at the other salon! we're really excited to be learning the roles of owners/managers/stock-keepers/payroll/scheduling/well everything there is to running a salon! as for me... i'm working 40 hrs still, thank god, and trying to side the house, but unfortunatuly between the heat at work(100 plus degrees) the heat at home outside after work(90 plus) and the two inches of rain every other night, i'm not getting very far! we were planning on camping last weekend but the rain, rained out a trail ride that we were going to be camping at with joann. next camping venture is fourth of july weekend @ the goodguys carshow in des moines! after that... we'll play by ear!

been awhile...

hey not much changed here. I went back to work on my line(from the tool room) and hate it, we're working on tearing off siding off of the house, getting ready for the new. and looking for someone to put soffit and facia on(reasonably!) chels is still working away then she's going on a walk w/ her mom... then probably to get ice cream(what's the point in walking?) anyhow i've ordered the last two windows for the house and am picking them up tomorrow! trouble is that i'm working 60 hours a week and don't have time to put them in! oh well the money is good, i'll take what i can get! chelsey is having a pampered chef party on sunday all are welcome...1:00pm
